This pendant ships with a 24" 100% copper chain (made in the US) and the bezel is pure copper formed by hand. It's easy to cut shorter with scissors if you like.
EcoPoxy Resin is used to cast and 'weld' the materials together. The non-toxic resin has a glossy and durable finish.

Crystals, minerals and metals have been used in jewelry, ritual and lifestyle for thousands of years. Every design has a perfect, herkimer diamond in the heart of the pendant. Herkimers are over 2 Billion years old created by enormous amounts of earth pressure. Mighty little powerhouse gems!
PLEASE NOTE:
Copper darkens and changes color quickly. It's just a property of the metal. If you want a shiny, new look it will take a little maintenance with lemon juice or vinegar baths. We personally like and embrace the natural shift of copper over time.
Every pendant is handmade and this means they vary in appearance. These are not made by machines, so don't expect that sort of robotic perfection. (We love robots though.)
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Due to the nature of copper and it's ability to change character fast, it's not advised to swim, shower or expose copper pendants to excessive moisture. Body fragrance, sweat and skin lotions can cause your copper pendant to darken very fast. It's fine to wash and dry your pendant. They will age and develop character. Hopefully this is something to embrace rather than fight against nature.
Refresh the copper color with a 20 minute vinegar or lemon juice bath.
