About Leland Blue Stone:
Leland Blue is a rare glass-like stone created in the late 1800s as a byproduct of iron smelting along Michigan’s Great Lakes. Over many decades, waves tumbled these slag fragments into today’s collectible beach stones. Tiny pores, historic cracks, and mineral inclusions are part of its original charm and history.
